I dropped by the university (the one where I attempted to get a graduate degree) to do some errands for next week's conference (the one where I will surely be asked about my plans to graduate). On my way to the jeepney stop I passed by some stalls selling clothing, flipflops, and pre-loved books. I immediately went to the the one selling books (of course!) and browsed the titles. This particular one caught my eye.
I really need a new shelf.
And before anyone says, "Why don't you get ebooks instead?", I would just like to say that some books are meant to be flipped through, put on the table, flipped through again, placed on a shelf, taken out, flipped from back to front, displayed, and eventually passed on to another book lover.
I get ebooks because they're convenient and save on space. I get real books because I like how they feel in my hands and take up space.
